OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University men's tennis team defeated John Brown University 6-1 on Saturday morning in Forest Park.
Jarmo Perez Wienese and
Enzo Ceravolo won their no. 1 double match 6-2. In no. 2 doubles,
Oscar Giorgio and
Ben Russell took a 6-1 victory.
Santiago Tartaglia and
Bernardo Figueiredo earned a 6-2 victory in no. 3 doubles.
Perez Wienese won his no. 1 singles match 6-2, 6-3. Tartaglia took a 6-3, 6-1 victory in no. 2 singles. Ceravolo lost his no. 3 singles match 6-1, 6-3. Russell earned a 6-2, 6-1 victory in no. 4 singles. Figueiredo, playing no. 5 singles, won 6-3, 7-5. Daniel Sanchez won 6-0, 6-2 in no. 6 singles.
Ottawa (3-1) returns to the court on Friday, March 7 against Maryville University in St. Louis, Mo. The match is scheduled to begin at 1:45 p.m.
