Men's Tennis is Defeated by Bethel, 7-0

OTTAWA, Kan. - The Ottawa University men's tennis team fell 7-0 to Bethel College at the Campus Courts on Saturday afternoon.

Ottawa came out looking to set the tone in doubles play, competing hard across all three courts. The No. 1 pairing of Enzo Ceravolo and Jarmo Perez Wienese led the charge, battling throughout their match before falling 6-2. While Bethel secured the doubles point, the Braves showed energy and cohesion heading into singles.

In singles action, Ottawa delivered some of its strongest moments of the day at the top of the lineup. Ceravolo fought in a tightly contested No. 1 match, dropping a pair of narrow 7-5 sets in one of the most competitive showings of the afternoon. Jarmo Perez Wienese also turned in a strong performance at No. 3, forcing a first-set tiebreak and staying within striking distance before falling in straight sets.

The Braves continued to compete across the lineup, but Bethel capitalized on key moments to secure the remaining courts. Ottawa's effort and determination were evident throughout, particularly against a Bethel squad that remains unbeaten in conference play.
