STERLING, Kan.- The Ottawa University men's tennis team bounced back in a big way on Friday, using a dominant singles performance to secure a 5-2 victory over Sterling College at the SC Tennis Facility. After being swept in doubles play, the Braves responded with authority, winning five of six singles matches to claim the team victory.

Sterling opened the match by taking all three doubles points, putting Ottawa in an early 0-1 hole. Despite competitive efforts across the board, the Braves were unable to secure a doubles win.
Ottawa flipped the script in singles play—and did so decisively.
At the top of the lineup, Enzo Ceravolo set the tone with a gritty straight-sets win at No. 1 singles, followed by Daniel Sanchez at No. 2 with another strong performance. The Braves continued to roll as Jarmo Perez Wienese dominated at No. 3, while Valentin Corriger battled back after dropping the first set to win in three.
Ottawa sealed the match with a convincing win at No. 6 from Lillian Wessels, while Sterling picked up its lone singles victory at No. 5.
