LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Ottawa University men's tennis team defeated Oklahoma Wesleyan University 7-0 on Wednesday morning at the Genesis Health Club.
 
Enzo Cerevolo and Yuki Usuda won their no. 1 doubles match 6-3 over Raphael Alvado and Manuel Espinal. Oscar Giorgio and Ben Russell took a 6-2 victory in no. 2 doubles over Richand Hoyte and Preston Callahan. Bernardo Figueiredo and Santiago Tartaglia won their no. 3 doubles match 6-1 against Owen Harrison and Nathan Bartlett.
 
Tartaglia defeated Hoyte in no. 1 singles 6-1, 6-1. Russell took a 6-3, 6-3 victory in no. 2 singles over Alvado. Giorgio earned a 6-1, 6-3 victory in no. 3 singles against Callahan. Ceravolo won 7-5, 6-2 in no. 4 singles over Espinal. Figueiredo took a 6-1, 6-0 win over Bartlett in no. 5 singles. Yuki Usuda won his no. 6 singles match 6-1, 6-1 over Harrison.
 
The Braves (7-6, 3-0) return to the court on Saturday, March 22 at Sterling College. The match is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m.
