OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University men's tennis team moved to 5-0 in KCAC play with a 7-0 victory over Avila University on Monday afternoon in Forest Park.
 
Bernardo Figueiredo and Daniel Sanchez won their no. 1 doubles match 6-1. Olivier Blanchet and Yuki Usuda defeated Robbie Davies and Dominic Lunn 6-0 in no. 2 doubles. Valentin Corriger and Luis Figueiredo won their no. 3 doubles match.
 
Figueiredo took a 6-0, 6-1 victory in no. 1 singles over Drue Coen. Sanchez won his no. 2 singles match 6-0, 6-0 over Caige Bjornstad. Usuda defeated Davies 6-0, 6-0 in no. 3 singles. Blanchet earned a 6-1, 6-1 victory in no. 4 singles over Lunn. Luis Figuiredo defeated Aidan Vandergrift 6-0, 6-0 in no. 5 singles. Corriger won his no. 6 singles match by default.
 
The Braves (9-6, 5-0) returns to action on Saturday, March 29 in Forest Park against McPherson College. The match is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m.
