OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University men's tennis team stayed perfect in KCAC play with a 5-2 victory over McPherson College on Saturday afternoon in Forest Park.
 
McPherson won the doubles point. Jarmo Prerez Wienese and Enzo Ceravolo fell in their no. 1 doubles match 6-4 to Celien Botlan and Oscar Brouwer. Ben Russel and Oscar Giorgio were defeated 6-3 in no. 2 doubles by Arthur Nardy and Simon Delgadillo. Daniel Sanchez and Santiago Tartaglia took a 6-2 victory in no. 3 doubles over Texas Ranger Schmidt and Jayson Wasserfuhr.
 
Tartaglia took a 7-5, 5-7, 7-6 (2) victory in no. 1 singles over Nardy. Perez Wienese won his no. 2 singles match 6-1, 3-6, 6-1 over Brouwer. Giorgio earned a 6-0, 6-1 victory in no. 4 singles over Wasserfuhr. Ceravolo defeated Delgadillo 6-3, 6-2 in no. 5 singles. Bernardo Figueiredo took a 5-7, 6-1, 10-7 victory in no. 6 singles over Balazs Temesvari. Russell fell 6-3, 6-2 in no. 3 singles to Botlan.
 
Ottawa (10-6, 6-0) returns to the court on Tuesday, April 1 in Wichita, Kan. against Friends University. The match is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m.
