OTTAWA, Kan. – The (RV) Ottawa University men's tennis team won its ninth straight KCAC match with a 7-0 victory over Southwestern College on Thursday morning. The Braves sit a top of the KCAC with a 9-0 record.
Valentin Corriger and
Yuki Usuda won their no. 1 doubles match 6-1.
Luis Figueiredo and
Olivier Blanchet took a 6-0 victory in no. 2 doubles.
Bernardo Figueiredo and Daniel Sanchez earned victory by default in no. 3 doubles.
Usuda took a 6-0, 6-3 victory in no. 1 singles. Corriger defeated Johnson 6-4, 6-3 in no. 2 singles. Blanchet won 6-0, 6-1 in no. 3 singles.
Luis Figueiredo, playing no. 4 singles, won his match 6-0, 6-2.
Ottawa (13-6, 9-0) is back in action on Saturday, April 12 in Lindsborg, Kan. against Bethany College. The match is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m.
