The Braves enter the non-conference double header on Thursday coming off an 11-4 loss to Friends University, on Tuesday, at Alumni Park.

Ottawa's next win will be its 30th of the season and the seventh time in program history that the Braves have won 30 or more games in a season. 2003: 30-14 | 2005: 30-21 | 2006: 31-20 | 2021: 37-20 | 2022: 43-10 | 2023: 36-17. OU's 29 wins this season are the seventh most in program history.

The Eagles won game one, 9-5 and the Braves took game two, 12-5. The last time the two teams played against each other in Fayette, Mo. was on March 5, 1998. CMU swept OU 10-4 and 5-3. The first ever meeting between the two teams was on April 8, 1972 in Fayette, Mo. The Eagles won the game, 3-2. Game two was an OU victory, 7-3 and is the first and only win for the Braves in Fayette. OU is 1-3 all-time on the road against the Eagles.

The Eagles last two wins are against William Penn on March 29. CMU took the first game of the double header 10-8 and the second game, 17-12.
