Tartaglia, Giorgio, and Russell Have Been Named to the All-KCAC Teams

Santiago Tartaglia Named KCAC Player of the Year

OTTAWA, Kan. – The 2025 Men's Tennis All-KCAC Teams have been released the conference office announced on Tuesday morning. Ottawa University had three players named to the teams and Santiago Tartaglia was named KCAC Men's Tennis Player of the Year.

Tartaglia, a junior from Carabobo, Valencia, Venezuela, earned First Team All-KCAC honors to go along with his KCAC Player of the Year selection. In singles, he has a record of 13-2, a KCAC mark of 7-0, and is 8-1 in no. 1 singles and 5-1 in no. 2 singles. Tartaglia has an overall record of 10-5 in doubles. He is 6-1 in the KCAC and 10-3 in no. 3 doubles.

Oscar Giorgio, a graduate student from Perth, Western Australia, was named Honorable Mention All-KCAC. In singles, he has an overall record of 16-11, a KCAC mark of 8-1, and a record of 6-4 in no. 4 singles. Competing in doubles, Giorgio has an overall record of 13-7, a 7-1 mark in the KCAC, and a record of 10-6 in no. 2 doubles.

Ben Russell, a sophomore from Thornlands, Australia, earned Honorable Mention All-KCAC honors. Competing in singles, he has an overall record of 13-8, a KCAC mark of 6-2, and is 8-4 in no. 3 singles. In doubles, Russell is 13-6 and 7-1 in the KCAC. He is 10-6 in no. 2 doubles.

The Braves start the KCAC Tournament on Wednesday, April 23 against Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kan. The match is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m.
