MOBILE, Ala. – The Ottawa University men's tennis team's season ended with a 4-0 loss to (7) Xavier University at the NAIA National Tournament on Tuesday afternoon.
Daniel Sanchez and
Santiago Tartaglia took a 6-1 victory in no. 3 doubles.
Jarmo Perez Wienese and
Enzo Ceravolo fell 6-2 in no. 1 doubles.
Ben Russell and
Oscar Giorgio, playing no. 2 doubles, lost 6-3.
Perez Wienese fell 6-3, 6-2 in no. 2 singles. Russell was defeated 6-1, 6-3 in no. 3 singles.
Enzo Ceravolo lost 6-0, 6-2 in no. 5 singles.
The Braves won the program's first KCAC Championship since 1951 and its first conference championship since 1976 this past season.
