OTTAWA, Kan. - The Ottawa University women's soccer team was selected to finish ninth by the KCAC coaches in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference, the conference office announced Thursday.
Oklahoma Wesleyan was selected to win the conference, receiving 168 points and 12 first-place votes. Friends was selected second, tallying 149 points and the remaining two first-place votes. Rounding out the top five were Kansas Wesleyan, Avila, and York with 147, 128, and 120 points, respectively. Up next came Saint Mary, Evangel, and Tabor in sixth through eighth with 106, 97, and 78 points, respectively. Ottawa followed them in ninth with 76 points.
Ottawa opens their season on Thursday, August 21 against Mid-America Christian University at AdventHealth Field at 6:00 PM.
