HILLSBORO, Kan. - The Ottawa men's tennis team won their first conference match of the season as they defeated Tabor, 5-2 on Monday afternoon in Hillsboro.

Jarmo Perez Wienese won the no. 1 singles match 6-2, 6-3 over Rayane Sanhaji, while Daniel Sanchez Rojas won the no. 2 singles match 6-2, 6-4 over Joao Sa. Enzo Ceravolo won no. 3 singles 6-2, 6-1 over Bruno Cardoso, and Valentin Corriger won the no. 4 singles match 6-3, 7-6 over Joao Franchi. Matias Mazieres won the no. 6 singles match 2-6, 6-3, 10-5 over Isaac Yourdon.

In doubles, Enzo Ceravolo and Jarmo Perez Wienese won the no. 1 match 6-2 over Joao Sa and Rayane Sanhaji.

Ottawa (2-3, 1-0 KCAC) returns to the court on March 12 as they host the University of Saint Mary in their home opener at 11:00 AM.
