Biography

2013: As a sophomore, Fullerton finished with a personal best time of 5:10.74 in the 1500M at the KCAC Championships. In the 3000M, she ran a time of 11:22.81 at the ESU Relays. Fullerton also ran in the 5000M, finishing with a season’s best time of 19:18.49 at the Wildcat Open. She earned All-KCAC honors in the 5000M at the KCAC Championships with a time of 19:26.12. Fullerton qualified for the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships for the second straight season. She finished 32nd in the marathon with a school record time of 3:26.03.60. Fullerton also holds the school record in the half marathon with a time of 1:30.31.

2012: Fullerton qualified for the 2012 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships in the marathon. She broke the school record in the half marathon with a time of 1:31.40.

High School: Fullerton was a four year letter winner in track, cross country and basketball for Flint Hills High School. She also earned four letters in band, two in vocal, and four in theater. Fullerton was named to the Southeast Kansas Elite All-Girls Cross Country Team, was named to the Kansas All-Academic Cross Country Team, and participated in the 4th Annual All-Star Cross Country Race at the Kansas Shrine Bowl. She placed sixth in the race. Fullerton placed ninth at the Kansas State 1A Cross Country Championships.

Personal: Daughter of Lance and Trisha Fullerton ... born April 7, 1993 ... accounting and business administration major. Her favorite book is “The Calling of Dan Matthews” and she likes to listen to Christian and country music. If she could be any animal, Fullerton would be a cheetah because they are simply fast.
