Biography

This is Tapia’s first season as a member of the OU track and field team.

2013: As a junior, Tapia played in 22 games scoring seven goals and tallying two assists for 16 points. She finished with 51 shots with 22 of them being on goal. Tapia was a Preseason All-KCAC pick.

2012: Tapia appeared in 18 games, making 16 starts as a sophomore. She earned Second Team All-KCAC honors. Tapia scored one goal, had one assist, took 26 shots with 10 of them being on goal, and she had one game winning goal. She scored her first career goal and her first collegiate game winning goal against Bethel College (10/3).

2011: Tapia appeared in 16 games with one start in her freshman season as a Lady Brave. She had 11 shots with two being on goal.
 
High School: Tapia earned three letters in soccer, and one in volleyball and track for Heritage High School. She earned First Team All-League honors and was named team MVP on the soccer field. On the track she helped the 4x100 and 4x400 team earn the league championship.
 
Personal: Daughter of Javier and Maria Luna ... born April 12, 1993 ... biology major.
