Biography

2013: Richardson earned All-KCAC honors in the 800M at the KCAC Championships with a time of 2:29.32. She finished with a time of 2:32.67 at the Wildcat Open and ran a time of 2:36.55 at the ESU Relays in the 800M.

2012: Richardson earned All-KCAC honors as a member of the 4x800M Relay team with a third place finish of 10:01.20. That time broke the school record by 20 seconds. She also earned All-KCAC honors in the 800M, placing sixth with a time of 2:28.43.

2011: She finished eighth in the 800M at the Tabor College Invitational and placed ninth in the 800M at the Bison Invitational. Richardson earned a sixth place finish in the 800M with a time of 2:34.29 at the Wildcat Open. She finished 11th in the 800M with a personal best time of 2:30.98 at the KCAC Track and Field Championships.

High School: Richardson was a four year letter winner in cross country and track for the Cyclones of Ottawa High School. She was a two-time state track and field qualifier and qualified once in cross country. Richardson was a four-time all-area selection.

Personal: Daughter of Dave Richardson and Barb Hodges … born September 2, 1991 … biology major. She enjoys eating watermelon, watching the movie “Big Fish” and watches the television show “Extreme Makeover.”
