Outdoor 2014: Perry qualified for the 2014 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Meet in the 200M. He earned All-KCAC honors in the 100M with a personal best time of 10.81, in the 200M with a time of 22.27, and he was the KCAC Champion in the long jump with a personal best jump of 22-01 at the KCAC Outdoor Championships. Perry ran a personal best time of 21.61 at the Darrel Gourley Open in the 200M.
Indoor 2014: In his second indoor season, Perry earned All-KCAC honors in the long jump with a personal best jump of 22-02.25 at the KCAC Indoor Championships. He earned All-KCAC honors in the 200M with a personal best time of 22.55. Perry ran a time of 53.61 in the 400M at the Dutch Athletic Classic. In the 55M, he ran a personal best time of 6.73 at the Dutch Athletic Classic. Perry ran a personal best time of 7.13 in the 60M at the Scott Nisely meet. He was part of the 4x400M team at the Scott Nisely Meet, running a time of 3:44.64.
Outdoor 2013: Perry earned three All-KCAC honors as a sophomore. He ran a season best time of 11.00 in the 100M to finish fourth, finished second in the 200M with a time of 22.73, and finished second in the long jump with a season’s best jump of 21-07.25 at the KCAC Championships.
Indoor 2013: At the KCAC Indoor Track and Field Championships, Perry finished seventh in the 60M with a time of 7.20 and he finished with a time of 23.74 in the 200M. He finished with a season best time of 23.43 at the Mule Relays (2/1) in the 200M.
Outdoor 2012: Perry earned NAIA All-American honors in his first collegiate season as a member of the school record setting 4x100M Relay. The Braves finished 5th at nationals with a school record time of 40.75. Perry also helped them win the KCAC 4x100M Relay title. He also earned All-KCAC honors in the long jump with a leap of 21-10 to finish sixth and in the 100M with a time of 11.19 to place sixth.
High School: Perry earned four letters in football, basketball, track, and baseball for Santa Fe Trail High School. He earned All-Area and All-League Honorable Mention honors for the Chargers. Perry participated in the 2011 Flint Hills Optimist All-Star Game.
Personal: Son of Tema Shoote ... born August 26, 1992 ... communication major. Perry also spent two years as a member of the OU men’s basketball team.
