Entering her senior season, Valenzuela has put her name in the OU record book. She is ranked second in slugging percentage (.620), third in walks (48), ninth in at bats (413), ninth in batting average (.366), sixth in hits (151), fifth in RBI (105), first in homeruns (21), fourth in doubles (32), sixth in triples (5), and ninth in runs scored (90).
2016: In her third collegiate season, Valenzuela played and started in all 54 games. She earned Honorable Mention All-KCAC honors. Valenzuela had 50 hits in 168 at bats for a .298 batting average. She finished the season with 34 runs scored, 13 doubles, three triples, and five homeruns. Valenzuela drove in 32 runs, had a slugging percentage of .500, walked 18 times, had a .382 on base percentage and went 2-for-2 in stolen base attempts. She ended the season ranked 32nd in the NAIA in total putouts (351) and 36th in total chances (365).
2015: Valenzuela played and started in 44 games this year on her way to being named First Team All-KCAC. She tallied 60 hits in 135 at bats for a team leading .444 batting average. Valenzuela scored 40 runs, hit 11 doubles, two triples, and a school record 11 home runs. She drove in 48, had a slugging percentage of .800, walked 19 times, was hit by a pitch twice, and had an on base percentage of .516. She tied her career high of four hits three times with the last being against Bethel College (4/7). Valenzuela hit a career high three homeruns in a single versus Bethel College (4/7). She earned KCAC Player of the Week honors once. Valenzuela finished the season ranked 22nd in the NAIA in slugging percentage (.800), 26th in total bases per game (2.4), 35th in batting average (.444), 37th in RBI per game (1.09), 38th in homeruns per game (.250), and 49th in total homeruns (11).
2014: Valenzuela finished her freshman season second on the team in batting average, hitting .373, on her way to earning Honorable Mention All-KCAC honors. She had 41 hits in 110 at bats. Valenzuela scored 16 runs, had eight doubles, five homeruns, drove in 25 runs, had a slugging percentage of .582, walked 11 times, was hit by a pitch once, and had an on base percentage of .434. She earned KCAC Player of the Week honors for her play in the field in week 10. Valenzuela earned her first collegiate hit against Oklahoma Wesleyan University (2/18), hit her first double versus Washburn University (2/26), and recorded her first homerun against Graceland University (3/7). She had a career high four hits (4-for-4) against Southwestern College (4/19) and drove in a season high four RBI against McPherson College (4/16).
High School: Valenzuela was a four year letter winner on the softball diamond for La Puente High School. As a senior she was her high school's team MVP, was the first non-pitcher in the league to win the League MVP award, earned First Team All-League honors, led the league in homeruns and was named team captain.
