2016: In her freshman season Adams played in 43 games, making 35 starts. She earned KCAC Player of the Week honors once. Adams had 34 hits in 108 at bats for a .315 batting average, which was third on the team. She scored 11 runs, hit nine doubles, had one triple, drove in 21 runs, had a .417 slugging percentage, walked four times, finished with a .328 on base percentage, and went 3-for-3 in stolen base attempts. Adams had nine multi-hit games with a career high three hits in four at bats against Bethel College (4/12).

High School: Adams earned four letters in softball and one in basketball for Troy High School. She earned Second Team All-District honors in 2014 and 2012. Adams also was an Honorable Mention All-District selection in 2013. She was named tournament MVP of the 2014 Eastview 4A Classic.
