Biography

Entering her senior season, Rivera has an overall record of 34-30. In dual matches, her record is 11-7. Rivera had a total of 14 falls and 12 technical falls for a total of 26 pins. She is ranked second in the OU record book in top 10 wins in the 101 pound weight class (14). Rivera is ranked first in the OU record book in top 10 wins in the 109 pound weight class (20).

2017-18: In her junior season, Rivera finished with an overall record of 13-7. She had a record of 4-1 in dual matches. Rivera finished the season with six falls and six technical falls for a total of 12 pins. She earned KCAC Women's Wrestler of the Week once this past season.

2016-17: Rivera won the 109 pound weight class at the NCWA National Championships. She finished the season with an overall record of 9-8. Rivera had a dual record of 1-1 and finished with a total of eight pins.

2015-16: Rivera earned NCWWA All-American honors in her freshman season with a fourth place finish in the 101 pound weight class. She finished with an overall record of 12-15 and a dual record of 6-5. Rivera finished with four falls and two technical falls for six total pins.

High School: Rivera earned four letters in wrestling at Seaman High School. She is on track to become the first female in the SHS 54 year wrestling history to compete all four years of her high school career.  She was a Kansas State Champion and earned fourth place at women’s nationals. Rivera was also a Kids State Qualifier.

Personal: Daughter of Darren and Martha Blake ... history major.
