High School: Jones lettered in wrestling and track for Burlingame High School. She was part of BHS 4x800M Relay team that qualified for the Kansas State Track and Field Meet. Jones was the Brute Nationals Champion Runner-Up team. She competed for Team Kansas and was coached by Doug Bingham.
