Waldorf University: Maitland was a member of the WU women's wrestling team.

High School: Maitland earned three letters in wrestling at Shoemaker High School. She was a three-time All-District selection (2013, 2014, 2015), earned a 2015 regional championship, finished second in state in 2015, and was named the 2015 Wrestler of the Year.

Personal: Daughter of Tenesha and Kevin Maitland ... physical education major.
