Biography

2020-21: At the Ottawa Challenge, Carey was named Best Female Lifter in the junior division and qualified for nationals. She finished first in the 84+ weight class with a total of 417.5kg. She hit marks of 195kg on squat, 77.5kg on bench, and 150kg on deadlift. At the USA Powerlifting Collegiate National, Carey set three new marks at the national meet. She squatted 220kg for a 25kg PR bench pressed 80kg for a 2.5kg PR, and deadlifted 160kg for a 7.5 PR. All three marks added to a 37.5kg PR on her total of 460kg.

2019-20: At the Kansas State Championships, Carey earned a finish of third in the 84+ kilo teen division. She went 8-for-9 in attempts and had a total of 400 kilos and a PR in the deadlift. Houser earned first in the 84+ kilo division and earned best lifter with a total PR of 422.5 kilos. She went 8-for-9 in attempts with a PR in squat, bench, and deadlift.

2018-19: Carey qualified for the USAPL Collegiate National Championships. She finished 12th in the 84+ Kg weight class. Carey had a personal best mark in the squat with a total of 180 Kg. She had a bench mark of 77.5 Kg and a deadlift total of 145 Kg to bring her total to 402.5 Kg. Carey now hold the Kansas State record in the 84+ Teen 3 Class for squat, deadlift and weight total.

High School: Carey lettered in powerlifting at Gardner Edgerton High School.
