Ottawa University

2020-21: At the Ottawa Challenge, Bankston earned first in the 63kg weight class with a total of 300kg. She finished with 50kg on bench, 132.5kg on deadlift, and 117.5 on squat. Bankston qualified for nationals. At the USA Powerlifting Collegiate Nationals, Bankston hit a new personal mark with a 7.5kg PR on squat with 125kg. She tied her PR in bench with 52.5kg, had a 7.5kg PR on deadlift with a pull of 142.5kg, and set a 20kg total PR of 320kg.

2019-20: Bankston qualified for the USA Powerlifting Collegiate National with a total of 282.5 kg at the Central Collegiate Cup. She finished third in the 63kg weight class. Her kg total was a 20 kg personal best.

High School: Bankston helped her club team to the State Cup, leading them to the semifinals. She played club soccer for Forza under head coach Luis Sanes.

Personal: Daughter of Ed and Carmen Bankston ... exercise science major. Bankston is also a member of the OU women's soccer team.
