Outdoor 2012: Samuels finished with a time of 2:24.95 in the 800M at the State Farm ESU Relays (3/31).
 
High School: Samuels earned four letters in track and cross country and two in basketball for Girard High School. He earned All-CNC honors on the cross country course and earned Second Team All-County and Second Team All-CNC on the basketball court. Samuels runs the 400, the 800, and the mile on the track.

Personal: Samuels is the son of Dale and Julie Samuels ... born November 21, 1992 ... elementary education major. His mother, his cousin Keith, and his grandmother, the late Elaine Pyle, are Ottawa University graduates. Samuels likes to have chocolate sheet cake for dessert. He enjoys listening to U2 and Coldplay. Samuels likes watching "The Dan Patrick Show" and "Sports Center." His dream transportation is a hover car.
