Indoor 2013: Smoote finished the season with a personal best time of 7.47 in the 60M at the Mule Relays (2/1). He ran a 24.45 in the 200M at the KCAC Indoor Track and Field Championships. In the 300M, Smoote ran a personal best time of 39.60 at the K-State All-Comers Meet (12/8). He finished with a time of 56.75 in the 400M at the Concordia Classic (1/27).
 
Outdoor 2012: Smoote ran an 11.57 in the 100M and a 1:01.50 in the 400M Hurdles at the Mule Relays (4/21). In the 200M at the State Farm ESU Relays, he ran a personal best 23.49 and then ran a 54.18 in the 400M. Smoote made it to the finals in the 400M Hurdles at the KCAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a personal best time of 59.95.  
 
High School: Smoote earned one letter in track at Fountain Fort Carson High School.

Personal: Son of Cydney Smoote ... born August 23, 1993 ... human services major. Smoote enjoys watching the 4x400M Relay and his hobbies include camping and playing basketball. Smoote’s favorite food is hot wings and he enjoys watching "House of Payne" and the movie "The Guardian."
