High School: Packard earned three letters in football for Derby High School. He helped lead the Panthers to the 2013 Kansas 6A Football State Championship. Packard finished the game with five tackles and one fumble recovery. He earned Second Team All-AVCTL honors and was named Second Team All-Metro.
