2013: In her second collegiate season, Bailey ran a personal best 2:28.69 in the 800M at the KCAC Championships to earn All-KCAC honors. She ran a time of 2:29.43 at the Wildcat Open and a time of 2:36.57 at the Tabor College Invitational in the 800M.
2012: Bailey earned All-KCAC honors in her first collegiate season as a member of the 4x800M Relay team. At the KCAC Track and Field Championships they ran a time of 10:01.20 to finish third. That time broke the school record. She ran the 1500M at the PSU Wendy’s Open, finishing 17th with a time of 5:27.41.
High School: Bailey earned four letters in cross country, four in track, and four in music at Riley County High School. She earned All-State honors in 2010 on the cross country course, earned KMEA All-State Choir honors, was a KCDA Women’s Choir selection, and was part of SC I Summer Choir. Bailey placed 17th at the Kansas 3A State Cross Country Championships.
Personal: Daughter of Greg and Leigh Bailey ... born March 6, 1993 ... music major. She loves her mom’s homemade roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, and bread. Bailey’s favorite animal is the platypus and she loves to watch the “Bill Cosby Show.”
