MCPHERSON, Kan. – The Ottawa University men's tennis team fell 5-2 to no. 20 McPherson College on Thursday afternoon at the Bulldog Tennis Park. McPherson took the doubles point 2-1 and had a record of 4-2 in singles.
Julian Toloza won his no. 2 singles match 6-4 6-3 against Marcus Nardy. In no. 3 singles,
Kevin Ugarteche won 6-4, 6-0 over Daniel Marcano.
Jhoel Quinonez and
Kevin Ugarteche won their no. 3 doubles match 6-2 over Arthur Nardy and Celien Botlan.
Ottawa (12-4, 8-2) finishes its regular season on Saturday, April 22 against Kansas Wesleyan University in Forest Park.
