OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University men's tennis team finishes the regular season with a 5-2 victory over Kansas Wesleyan University in Forest Park on Saturday afternoon. The Braves took the doubles point, 2-1, and had a record of 4-2 in singles.

Oscar Aguilera and Santiago Tartaglia defeated Adam Hanson and Luke Craft in no. 2 doubles, 6-1. In no. 3 doubles, Jhoel Quinonez and Kevin Ugarteche took a 6-0 victory over Collin Phelps and Jacob Phelps. Oscar Giorgio and Julian Toloza fell 6-2 in no. 1 doubles to Bryce Ware and Garrison Wright.

Toloza won his no. 2 singles match 6-4, 6-4 over Wright. In no. 3 singles, Quinonez defeated Jacob Phelps 6-3, 6-3. Ugarteche took a 6-3 6-2 victory in no. 4 singles over Hanson. Giorgio won his no. 5 singles match, 6-1, 6-1 over Collin Phelps. Erik Czapinski fell 6-4, 6-4 in no. 6 singles to Craft. Tartaglia lost 6-2, 6-4 in no. 1 singles to Ware.

Ottawa (13-4, 9-2) finishes the regular season third in the KCAC. The Braves will now compete in the KCAC Tournament, starting on Wednesday, April 26.
