2013: In his junior season, Jobes appeared in eight games and made four starts for the Braves. He had one hit in nine at bats for a .111 batting average. He scored one run, had a slugging percentage of .111, earned two walks, and had an on base percentage of .273. On the pitcher’s mound, Jobes finished the season with two appearances and a 4.90 ERA.
2012: Jobes appeared on both the pitcher’s mound and in the field for the Braves as a sophomore. As a pitcher, he appeared in three games, striking out three in 2.1 innings pitched. Jobes had 12 appearances at the plate and had a .250 batting average with three hits. He scored nine runs, had one double, two RBI, a slugging percentage of .333, an on base percentage of .400, was 2-for-3 in stolen base attempts, and a field percentage of .947.
2011: Jobes appeared in 32 games, making four starts at the varsity level in his first collegiate season. He scored 11 runs and was 1-for-4 in stolen base attempts. Jobes had his first career at bat versus Briar Cliff University (3/6). On the junior varsity level he appeared and started in four games. Jobes went 2-for-8 with a .250 batting average. He had one RBI, two walks, was hit by a pitch, a slugging percentage of .250 and an on base percentage of .455.
High School: Jobes earned three letters in baseball, two in basketball and one in football for Raymore-Peculiar High School. He earned Honorable Mention All-Conference as an outfielder in 2009, First Team All-Conference as a pitcher in 2010, and in 2009 on the football field Jobes was named Honorable Mention All-Conference as a receiver. On the baseball diamond, he participated in the 2009 Legion All-Star Game and in the 2010 East-West Missouri Senior All-Star Game.
