High School: Raber earned two letters on the baseball diamond for Rocky Mountain High School. He helped the Lobos to the Colorado 5A State Tournament in 2012 and 2013. As a junior, Raber had a .389 batting average for RMHS and as a senior he is hit .412. In the spring of 2013, Raber led Rocky Mountain High School to a Front Range Conference Championship with an undefeated record. He also led RMHS to an undefeated regular season record against teams from Colorado, to a ranking of second in Colorado Class 5A, to a ranking of 74^th nationally by Max Prep, and to the Colorado State Championship game where the Lobos fell 2-1. Raber led his American Legion A team to a state runner-up hitting .400. He played for the WYCO Braves Fall Scout Team in the fall of 2012 and hit .407.  Raber earned Front Range All-Conference honors and was selected to play in the Colorado State Senior All-Star Game. In the summer of 2013, he played for the Northern Colorado Beavers.
