He finished the season with 75 tackles (31 solo/44 assisted), 14.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, two pass brake ups, and one forced fumble. Garcia finished the season ranked sixth in the NAIA in total tackles for loss (14.5) and 30th in tackles for loss per game (1.5). He had a career high 13 tackles against Avila University and tied his career high in tackles for loss with three versus the University of Saint Mary.
2019: Garcia was named First Team All-KCAC for the second straight season. He had 59 tackles (28 solo/31 assisted), five sacks, and four recovered fumbles. Garcia finished the year ranked 14th in the NAIA in tackles for loss per game (1.7), 30th in total tackles for loss (15.5), and 50th in sacks per game (0.6). He had a season high 11 tackles versus Friends University and a career high three tackles for loss against Bethel College.
2018: Garcia earned Honorable Mention NAIA All-American honors as a sophomore. He was a First Team All-KCAC selection at defensive line. Garcia had 56 tackles (22 solo/34 assisted), eight sacks, one fumble recovery, and one blocked kick. He had a season high 10 tackles against Tabor College, including three tackles for loss.
2017: Garcia finished his freshman season with 32 tackles (17 solo, 15 assisted). He had three tackles for loss and one sack. Garcia earned Honorable Mention All-KCAC honors.
High School: Garcia lettered in football and wrestling at W.B. Ray High School. He was a First Team All-District selection and earned Third Team All-South Texas. Garcia played in the Shrine All-Star Game.
