2022: As a redshirt sophomore, Ali had 47 tackles (24 solo, 23 assisted). He had 3.0 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, one interception, one pass break up, two fumbles recovered, and one forced fumble.

2021: Ali finished his CoVID sophomore season with 60 tackles (32 solo, 28 assisted), five tackles for loss, one sack, and two pass break ups.

2020: Ali had 51 tackles (19 solo/32 assisted), 1.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions, and four pass break ups.

2019: Redshirt

Garden City Community College: Ali was a member of the GCCC football team that competed at in the 2018 NJCAA National Championship Game against East Mississippi Community College.

High School: Ali lettered in football, track, and lacrosse at Groves High School. He earned First Team Division honors, was a Second Team All-State selection, he was named to the D-Zone All-Star Dream Team, was an All-OAA Blue selection, earned First Team All-OAA honors. was named First Team Defense All-North, and earned All-Metro-North honors.
