Entering his junior season, Loucks has appeared in 32 games with 18 starts on the pitcher’s mound. He has a record of 11-5 with two saves and has pitched in 147.2 innings. Loucks has an ERA of 4.21 with 115 strikeouts. He is ranked fourth in the OU record books in career appearances (32), second in complete games (11), second in ERA (4.21), third in victories (11), fourth in innings pitched (147.2), and third in strikeouts (115).

2012: As a sophomore, Loucks became one of the best pitchers in the KCAC. He finished with an 8-3 record and a 2.66 ERA. Loucks earned KCAC Pitcher of the Week honors three times and earned First Team All-KCAC honors on the pitcher’s mound. He had 63 strikeouts in 94.2 innings pitched for the Braves. Loucks appeared in 17 games with 13 starts. He had a career high six strikeouts three times with the last being against McPherson College (4/15). Loucks had 10 complete games and opponents had a .254 batting average against him.  He finished the season ranked 36^th in the NAIA in total innings pitched (94.2). Loucks put his name in the OU record books in single season pitching records. He is ranked eighth in appearances (17), second in complete games (10), fifth in ERA (2.62), tied for fourth in wins (8), third in innings pitched (94.2), eighth in strikeouts (63), and second in saves (2).

2011: In his first collegiate season Loucks appeared in 15 games, making five starts on the pitching mound. He went 3-2 with a 6.96 ERA in 53 innings pitched, striking out 52. Loucks also played in five games at the junior varsity level. He had three hits in 14 at bats for a .214 batting average.

High School: Loucks was a three time All-Centennial League performer for Emporia High School and earned First Team honors in 2010. He helped lead his American Legion team to the Glen Winget Memorial Tournament Championship and was named to the all-tournament team.
