2012: After spending most of his time on the junior varsity level as a freshman and sophomore, Christensen made the jump to varsity as a junior. He appeared in 29 games with seven starts. Christensen had a .150 batting average, a .200 slugging percentage, two walks, an on base percentage of .292, and he was 1-for-3 in stolen base attempts.
 
2011: Christensen played on the junior varsity team as a sophomore. He appeared and started in four games. Christensen had seven at bats and one RBI.

2010: Christensen played on the junior varsity team his first year as a Brave. He played in seven games, starting six. Christensen had a .167 batting average with 2 hits in 12 at bats. He scored three runs, had one homerun, two RBI, a slugging percentage of .417, an on base percentage of .444. In the field, Christensen had nine putouts and a fielding percentage of .818.

High School: Christensen earned two varsity baseball letters for Olathe North High School. He helped the Eagles to a seventh place finish in the 11 team Sunflower League and to an overall record of 9-11.
