2014: Miller appeared in 18 games with 14 starts in his first season as a Brave. He went 7-for-36 at the plate for a .194 batting average. Miller scored four runs, hit one double, one homerun, had a slugging percentage of .306, walked five times, was hit by a pitch for times, and had an on base percentage of .356. He had a walkoff homerun in the final game of the season against Bethany College (4/26), giving OU the 4-3 victory.
Highland Community College: Miller earned two letters on the baseball diamond for Highland Community College.
High School: At Lakin High School, he earned four letters in baseball, three in football, and three in basketball for the Broncos. Miller earned All-League, All-State, and All-Area honors in 2007 and 2008. He battled through injury his senior season, earning All-League honors. Miller helped the Broncos to a third place finish at the 2007 Kansas 3A State Baseball tournament, winning game one for LHS on the mound. In 2008 he was named the Kansas Babe Ruth All-Star Game MVP. In 2009, Miller was named to the Rivals Top 100 Players in the Nation list.
