2014: In his first season in an OU uniform, Ostergard played in 48 games with 47 starts at second base. He went 41-for-142 at the plate for a .289 batting average. Ostergard scored 35 runs, hit nine doubles, one triple, had two homeruns, drove in 17, had a slugging percentage of .408, was walked 16 times, hit by a pitch six times, had a slugging percentage of .384, had 11 sacrifice hits, and went 6-for-8 in stolen base attempts. He had nine multi-hit games with his first being against Evangel University (3/12). Ostergard had a career high three hits against Kansas Wesleyan University (4/11).
Western Nebraska Community College: Ostergard lettered on the baseball diamond at WNCC. As a sophomore he appeared in 46 games, finishing with a .242 batting average with 32 hits in 132 at bats. Ostergard scored 20 runs, hit 10 doubles, had two triples, hit one homerun, drove in 20 runs, tallied 20 walks, had a slugging percentage of .371, and an on base percentage of .387.
