2015: Porter was named Honorable Mention All-KCAC. He helped OU get its third straight 1,000 yard rusher.

San Diego Mesa College: Porter earned two letters in football for Olympians. He earned the 2013 Iron Man Award for his play on the gridiron.

High School: Porter was a three year letterman in football and track for California Military Institute. He earned two letters in baseball for the Rough Riders. Porter helped CMI to an undefeated Arrowhead League Championship. He was the first student athlete in Arrowhead League history to earned unanimous First Team honors at offensive tackle. Porter was also named First Team All-League as a tight end. He also helped the track team to a league championship in 2010 and 2011. Porter earned All-League honors in shot put and ran the third leg of the Rough Riders 4x100M Relay team.
