For his career, Wood has 112 all-purpose yards for an average of 11.2 yards per game. He also had nine receptions and one touchdown.

2012: As a sophomore, Wood had nine receptions for 90 yards and one touchdown. He averaged 10 yards per reception and 15 yards receiving per game.

2011: As a freshman, Wood appeared in the Braves backfield and played special teams. He had one reception from his full back position.

High School: Wood earned four letters in football and three in basketball and baseball. He was a First Team All-League selection at linebacker and earned Second Team All-League honors as a quarterback. On the basketball court, Wood was a First Team All-League selection at forward and on the baseball di­amond earned Second Team All-League honors on the pitching mound. On the football field he rushed for 1,974 yards and 21 touchdowns and passed for 2,128 yards and 28 touchdowns. Because of his efforts on the gridiron, Wood participated in the 2011 8-Man All-Star Football game in Beloit, Kan.
