Biography

Entering his senior season, Adamson has 69 receptions for 601 yards and six receiving touchdowns. He is averaging 13.1 yards per reception and 33.4 yards per game receiving. On special teams, Adamson has 93 punts for 3,455 yards. That is an average of 37.1 yard per punt.

2012: Adamson was both a receiver and OU’s starting punter as a junior. He earned Second Team All-KCAC honors at receiver and punter. Adamson was ranked 20th in the NAIA in punting yards per attempt (39.3).  As a receiver, he had a career high 43 receptions for 563 yards. He averaged 13.1 yards per receptions, with a long of 71. Adamson hauled in three receiving touchdowns and averaged 51.2 yards receiving per game. He also excelled in the classroom where he was named, for the second straight season, a Daktronic Scholar Athlete.

2011: As a sophomore, Adamson split time with Michael Baer at punter and was a receiver for the Braves. He had 15 receptions for 147 yards and one touchdown. As a punter, Adamson had 38 at­tempts for an average of 34 yards. He had five inside of the 20, five fair caught, three touch backs, and had a long of 60 yards. Adamson did well in the classroom and was named a Daktronic Scholar Athlete.

2010: Adamson played in seven games in his freshman season for the Braves. He had 11 receptions for 191 yards, two touchdowns, and averaged 17.4 yards per reception. Adamson had a 27.3 yards per game average.

High School: Adamson was a four year letterwinner in baseball and earned three letters in football, basketball, and track for Byers High School. He earned All-State and All-Conference honors as a senior at quarterback. As a junior, Adamson was an All-State and All-Conference selection at receiver. He helped the Bulldogs to three league championship games. He was a two-time Offensive MVP. As a senior, Adamson had over 2,000 yards passing and 500 yards rushing. During his junior season, he had over 1,000 yards receiving. For his career, Adamson had 12 interceptions as a defensive back.

Personal: Son of Bob and Jana Adamson … born December 18, 1991 … communication major. His brother Bobby was an All-KCAC performer at quarterback for the Braves and led his Nimes Centurions (France) of the FFL to a league championship.
