Hilliger was named to the 2013 All-KCAC preseason team. His 93 receptions rank him eighth in the KCAC football record book in single season receptions. Hilliger was named to the 2013 Sporting News Preseason NAIA All-American Team and to the 2013 BSN Preseason NAIA All-American Team.
2012: Hilliger had one of the best receiving seasons as a Brave. He had a career high 93 receptions, second all-time in the OU record book. He also broke the school record for single game receptions with 18 receptions for 213 yards against Sterling College (10/20). Hilliger had six games with over 100 reception yards and 14 receiving touchdowns with a career high three against Sterling College (10/20). Because of his play in the field he earned First Team All-KCAC honors. Hilliger also earned First Team BSN NAIA All-American honors. He finished the season ranked third in the NAIA in receptions per game (8.5), third in total receptions (93), eighth in total receiving yards (1,115), eighth in receiving yards per game (101.4), 21st in total scoring (84), 22nd in scoring per game (7.6), 44th in all-purpose yards (1,166), and 48th in all-purpose yards per game (106).
Los Angeles Valley College: Hilliger was a two year letter winner for the Monarchs. For his career, he had 34 receptions for 521 yards and five touchdowns. Hilliger averaged 15.2 yards per catch. He helped lead them to a two year overall record of 11-9 and a conference record of 7-5.
High School: Hilliger earned four letters in soccer, three in baseball, and two in football for Los Angeles Baptist High School. He was a two-time First Team All-conference selection in football and baseball for the Knights. Hilliger earned four, First Team All-Conference nods on the soccer pitch.
Personal: Son of Michael and Carrie Hilliger ... born October 3, 1991 ... accounting major. Hilliger was the LAVC teammate of current Brave Morey Croson.
