University of Texas at San Antonio: Brown played in eight games with six starts as a sophomore at UTSA. He racked up 26 tackles (18 solos/8 assists) and blocked a field goal against Georgia State University (10/29/11). Brown returned 11 punts for 75 yards for an average of 6.8 yards per return. He had a career high six tackles against no. 16 Sam Houston State (10/1/11) and against against UC Davis (10/15/11).

Fresno State University: Brown redshirted his freshman season (2009) and was a back up defensive back in 2010).

High School: Brown lettered in football, basketball, and track at Judson High School. He earned First Team Texas Class 4A All-State honors as a senior after leading JHS to a perfect 14-0 record and its third straight state title. Brown finished his senior season with 33 tackles and one interception. He finished the season with 417 rushing yards and six touchdowns. As a receiver Brown caught 20 passes for 412 yards (20.6 avg.) and four touchdowns. He also passed to two touchdowns. Brown averaged 17 yards per punt return and averaged more than 43 yards per kickoff return. He earned First Team Texas Class 5A All-State honors as a junior and picked off seven passes to help the Rockets to the Division I championship game.

Personal: Son of Bobbie Brown and Jennifer Hulbert ... born March 16, 1991 ... exercise science major. His brother Isaiah Brown is a freshman defensive back at the University of New Mexico.
