2013: Hayes had 71 rushing attempts for 297 yards and four touchdowns in his sophomore season. He also had 13 receptions for 104 yards and one touchdown. Hayes averaged 29.7 yards on the ground and 10.4 receiving yards per game. He finished the season with 442 all-purpose yards, averaging 44.2 per game. Hayes was selected to the 2013 Preseason All-KCAC team.

2012: Hayes was one of the best kickoff returners in the NAIA in his redshirt freshman season. He finished the season ranked 30^th in the NAIA in kickoff return yards per attempt (23) and 36^th in kickoff return yards (437). Because of his play on the field, Hayes earned Second Team All-KCAC honors as a kick returner. He had a career high 104 yards rushing and 106 kickoff return yards against Southwestern College (10/6).  

2011: Hayes redshirted his freshman season.

High School: Hayes was a Second Team All-City defensive back for Southeast High School.

Personal: Son of Fred and Tammie Hayes ... born June 7, 1993 ... communications major. Hayes earned All-KCAC honors at the 2013 KCAC Indoor Track and Field Meet in the high jump.
