2013: Farris appeared in all 12 games as a junior at linebacker. He finished the year with 58 tackles (33 solo, 25 assisted) and three tackles for loss. Farris had a career high eight tackles twice with the last being against Tabor College (11/16).

2012: In his sophomore season Farris had four tackles and one sack primarily playing on the Brave special teams.

2011: Farris split time between the varsity and junior varsity as a freshman. On the varsity level, Farris had six tackles (3 solo, 3 assisted).

High School: Farris earned four athletic letters in football, three in powerlifting, and two in wrestling. He was a 3-A All-Star selection at linebacker, earned 3A-5A All-District honors, was named Inside Linebacker of the Year, and was a two-time All-Area selection at linebacker. During his senior season Farris tallied 67 tackles in eight games and as a junior had 131 tackles in 10 games.
