2013: Bruce led the Braves on defense, finishing with a team high 101 tackles (68 solo, 33 assisted). He had 28.5 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, one pass break up, four fumble recoveries, six forced fumbles, and one of those fumble recoveries were returned 60 yards for a touchdown against Friends University (11/9). Bruce had a career high 12 tackles twice with the last being against Grand View University (11/23). He had a career high three sacks and five tackles for loss against Missouri Valley College (9/14). Bruce was named KCAC Defensive Player of the Year; earned NAIA AFCA Second Team All-American honors, and was a finalist for the Cliff Harris Small College Defensive Player of the Year award. He finished the season ranked first in the NAIA in fumbles forced per game (0.5), first in tackles for loss (28.5), second in tackles for loss per game (2.4), fifth sacks per game (1.1), fifth in total sacks (13), and 47th in tackles per game (8.4).
2012: Bruce redshirted his junior season at OU.
