2012: Cooper appeared in two games as a quarterback for the Braves. He threw his first varsity touchdown against Kansas Wesleyan University (9/9). Cooper went 7-for-11though the air for a 63.6 completion percentage. He threw for 57 yards with a long of 15 yards and one touchdown. Cooper had a 137.2 passing efficiency.

2011: Cooper played on the junior varsity team his freshman season.

High School: Cooper was a two year letter winner in football and earned one letter in baseball for Castle High School. He helped the Knights to a 2010 Sectional Championship and helped lead them to a 2009 Sectional Runner-up.
